Florence Ada Maddison......aged 49.

Florence who was ill in bed, was hit by shrapnel and, unfortunately, bled to death.

She is buried in St Stephen's Churchyard in Acomb, York.



The final resting place of Florence Maddison is in the unmarked plot to the RHS of the grey marble headstone.
The first burial in this plot was in 1910 for an infant, Leonard Coates, aged 1.
Louise Taylor was buried in the same plot in 1930 and her daughter joined her in 1942.
The family connection between Mrs Taylor and Leonard Coates is not known.
