The UN at work 2000-04

 All images are courtesy of the UN's Blue Beret magazine. During this period the magazine had a lot of news concerning safe driving, military skills contests, the histories of prominent regiments, monthly articles on local historical sites plus images of the many visitors to UNFICYP.
However, there was the occasional snippet of news that showed the real work of the UN.
 

UN 129 was in the mixed village of Pyla....see the next image.

There were a series of articles entitled, "Me and my OP" but these articles with specific locations didn't last long.
