The crew of Stirling EE908 (15 Sqn)

This Stirling Mk III took off from Mildenhall at 2110hrs. After straying to the south of the target it was attacked by a Fw190 as it made its way north towards Peenemünde. It caught fire and crashed into the Baltic near Greifswald. The body of Sgt Hudson was never found. Four members of the crew were taken POW.
