The Nuremberg Rallies

Transportation to the Concentration Camps

In October 1941, deportation of Jews from Northern Bavaria to the ghettos and extermination camps began.
An assembly point in the March Field was the last stage before their deportation for more than 2,000 Jews from northern Bavaria.
Once there, they were harassed, mistreated and robbed of their property.
In November 1941, they were transported from the March Field station to the camp near Riga and in March 1942 to the Izbica ghetto in Poland.
Only 52 of those deported to Riga survived the Holocaust and no-one returned from Izbica ghetto.
