The Luitpold Hall - Then & Now

The Luitpold Hall was destroyed in an air raid on the night of August 29, 1942.

The photograph shows the ruins of the hall viewed from the rear looking towards the entrance facade

Today this area is occupied by a carpark

Amazingly, the granite step is exposed allowing a close comparison.

Extensive redevelopment, fences and thick bushes make getting an exact comparison very awkward
