The Luitpold Hall was destroyed in an air raid on the night of August 29, 1942.

The photograph shows the ruins of the hall viewed from the rear looking towards the entrance facade
The Luitpold Hall (bottom left hand corner) is clearly a ruin........NCAP 17th December 1944

Today this area is occupied by a carpark

The Blood Flag about to be paraded into the Luitpold Hall

Amazingly, the granite step is exposed allowing a close comparison.

Extensive redevelopment, fences and thick bushes make getting an exact comparison very awkward
