The March Field

The 11 towers that had been completed were demolished between 1966-1967 to create space for a new housing area.......Langwasser which now has over 35,000 residents

The March Field is shown within the yellow frame......now the suburb of Langwasser
The foundations of two of the eleven towers that were constructed can be visited but little remains today
However, the aerial photograph shows how the Great Avenue linked the Congress Hall and March Field

Little evidence remains of the March Field towers and imagination is required to appreciate their significance
