AC2 Harold Holmes

Harold Holmes was a member of the Station Staff and was killed when the Guardroom at RAF Clifton was hit by bombs.

He was 21 years old and is buried in Baildon (St John) Churchyard near Shipley, Yorkshire.









The headstone is in a very overgrown part of the cemetery at the bottom of a steep slope below the church.

It is probably the only identifiable headstone.
