1st September 2018
Two new "Then & Now" images have been added..........The Leopold Arcade in Coney Street and the bomb damage in Malton Way.
Additionally, a map showing bombs which damaged utilities has been added.

The grave of Sgt J Armitage has been located and photographed in Edinburgh.

27th September 2016
The graves of AC2 H Holmes and Private C W Jones have been photographed.

22nd January 2016
Courtesy of St Andrew's Church, Rippingale, we have located the final resting place of Mary Jane Farrow.

31st December 2015
A new page added describing the bombing of Freiburg. This attack was referred to by Hitler in his April 1942 speech as justification for the Luftwaffe attacks on UK cities.

13th November 2015
An error has been corrected concerning the location of Hitler's speech.....it should be the Kroll Opera House and not the Reichstag building.

28th October 2015
Additional information about RAF 80 Wing (Signals) added to the Luftwaffe target locating page. Also several minor corrections made to this page.

Thanks to Chris Fursdon we have a picture of Charlie Shufflebotham who was one of the airmen killed in the Guardroom of RAF Clifton Moor.
Don Savage from Acomb has kindly located the grave of Florence Maddison and information from David Poole has allowed me to photograph the grave of John Ruskin in Boston, Lincs.
