The factory under construction.

Today, for many people, the factory stands as an unwanted reminder of past events.

The factory produced liquid oxygen which was a vital fuel for the rocket programme.......each V2 required almost 5,000kg of liquid oxygen.
Like sveral other important targets, the plant was never attacked.
