We were looking to find this view near to Görsdorf.

Approaching the village you can see that it was close to the border.

Finding the view wasn't obvious so we sought the help of a local farmer.
He was extremely helpful and gave us very detailed instructions on where the view was.

The instructions led us to pass by the old railway station.

Now converted into a weekend home.

Although the station served the village of Görsdorf (Thuringia), the actual building was in Bavaria.
The station is inaccessible and abandoned.

We found the view but discovered the limitations of my camera phone.......a telephoto lens was required.
